Shariah has prohibited drawing pictures of animate/ensouled objects. So you'll see the faces erased on pictures, or scratched off ancient murals etc. Even drawing or building figures like scarecrows, and snowmen with the head and facial features is not permissible. Make what you will of that rule. 😖
