Malta is a major stopover point for migrating birds. Unfortunately the locals are shooting fanatics and every year as they come in to land, migratory birds are greeted by up to 10,000 hunters with the chilling motto, ldquo;if it flieshellip; it dies.rdquo; Itrsquo;s a massacre. An absolute tragedy which the Maltese Government not only tolerates but encourages and protects by what can only be explained as an absurd abuse of EU law.
